This December, Sanctuary Youth Centre is hosting our annual Amazing Backpack Giveaway — a community-driven event that helps equip Victoria’s youth for the winter season.

Between Friday, December 19th and Sunday, December 21st, youth are invited to stop by Sanctuary to pick up a new backpack and fill it with essential items and treats such as toiletries, gloves, socks, snacks, water bottles, and more.

​

Each backpack is filled with care, love, and practical supplies — all made possible through the generosity of local donors and community partners.

​

If you’d like to contribute, donations of small toiletries, snacks, gift cards, and other essentials can be dropped off at Sanctuary Youth Centre (Church of Our Lord basement, 626 Blanshard Street) during open hours (Wednesday–Sunday, 4–8 PM).

Together, we can make this holiday season a little brighter for youth in our community.
